What is the ideal temperature for the products you will be displaying?

Avoiding food waste and, in more severe cases, food poisoning, is only possible with proper control of the temperature at which foods are exposed, allowing for extended shelf life of food items.

We always advise checking the legal requirements for storage temperature; however, the generally recommended storage temperatures are as follows:

Meats and derivatives: Generally, the recommended temperature for the display of raw meats and derivatives is between 0°C and 4°C for refrigerated storage and below -18°C for frozen storage.

Dairy and derivatives: Dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, and butter should ideally be stored at a temperature between 0°C and 4°C.

Fruits and vegetables: The ideal temperature for fresh fruits and vegetables varies from 7°C to 10°C for refrigerated storage.

Frozen products: Frozen products in general should be kept at a temperature below -18°C.

Bakery products: Breads and bakery products are typically stored at room temperature but should be protected from excessive moisture and heat to prevent deterioration.
